Deutschlandhalle, Berlin September 1979 concert poster

Original first printing vintage concert poster advertising American rock group Boston at the Deutschlandhalle in Berlin [Germany] on Tuesday, 25th September, 1979, with Philip Bates’ Trickster as special guests. Presented by Lippmann + Rau, the Berlin concert was part of Boston’s ten-date German tour in support of the Don’t Look Back album, commencing at the Grugahalle in Essen on 22nd September and ending at the Messehalle in Nuremberg on 6th October, 1979. Produced by Tom Scholz at his own Hideaway Studio, the album was released in August 1978 on Epic Records. Primarily a vehicle of studio wizard Scholz, Boston had become one of the best selling groups of the late 1970s and was topping charts in both America and Europe, and was eventually awarded as the #1 Stadium and Festival Artist for 1979 by Billboard.

The poster measures 60.0 x 84.2 cm (approx. 23.6″ by 33.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
