Original vintage concert program book lavishly produced for the 1969 Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona staged at the Palacio de la Musica in Barcelona [Spain] from 8th to 24th November, 1969, presented by Juan Roselló in association with George Wein. This was the fourth year of the festival and performing artists included the Slide Hampton Quartet (featuring trombonist Slide Hampton, guitarist André Coundouvant, bassist Jimmy Woode, and drummer Art Taylor) (8th Nov); the Gary Burton Quartet (featuring vibraphonist Gary Burton, guitarist Dave Pritchard, bassist Steve Swallow, and drummer Will Goodwin) (8th Nov); Sarah Vaughan accompanied by pianist John Veith, bassist Gus Mancuso, and drummer Ed Pucci (10th Nov); the Patterson Singers (15th Nov); The Saints and Sinners All Stars (featuring pianist Charles Red Richards, tenor saxophonist Buddy Tate, trumpeter Herman Autrey, clarinetist and alto saxophonist Rudy Powell, bassist Danny Mastri, and drummer George Reed)  (15th Nov); and Duke Ellington and His Orchestra (23rd and 24th Nov). On 24th November, Ellington performed his Sacred Concerts with the Coral Sant Jordi conducted by Oriol Martorell.

In original pictorial matte-coated wrappers, perfect bound, 20.8 x 276.8 cm, 66 pp. Program notes in Spanish by Alberto Mallofre, Raimon Tort, Horst Lippmann, Alfredo Papo, and J. M. Fonollosa. In excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
