1976 Japanese Capitol Records/Toshiba EMI promo poster
Large original first printing Wings promotional poster issued by Capitol Records/Toshiba EMI in Japan in 1976, presumably to promote the release of the Wings at the Speed of Sound album – the band’s fifth studio album, produced by Paul McCartney, and released on 26th March, 1976. The poster features an uncredited photo by David Montgomery from a photo session on 4th April, 1976. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 82.3 x 56.5 cm (approx. 32.4″ by 22.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
