Large original first printing concert poster advertising legendary American guitarist and singer Stevie Ray Vaughan (1954—1990) at the Congresgebouw in The Hague [Holland] on Saturday, 13th July, 1985, with the Johnny Otis Revue, Jimmy Witherspoon, Johnny Copeland, Phillip Walker, The Mighty Flyers, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds also on the bill. The show in Rotterdam was part of the first European leg of the “Soul to Soul” tour, also visiting Hamburg, Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen, Pori, Vienne, Perugia, and Montreux during July 1985. In spite of a short-lived mainstream career spanning only seven years, Stevie Ray Vaughan is widely considered one of the most influential guitarists in the revival of blues in the 1980s.
The poster is HUGE and measures 82.2 x 117.7 cm (approx. 32.4″ by 46.3″ inches) and is printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Additional photos available on request.
