Original Publicity Manual for January/February 1960 British tour

Original vintage publicity manual for Sarah Vaughan’s January 1960 nationwide tour of Great Britain, compiled and distributed by her UK booking agency Harold Davison Limited, Regent Street, London. Vaughan is billed as being backed by Johnny Dankworth and his Orchestra. It lists the correct billing information and the specific dates and venues for the tour. These manuals were used to help organise the ticket selling and the concert adverting campaign through the media, and were sent out to the different individual concert promoters on a forthcoming tour. A must for the jazz historian.

Stapled mimeograph print containing 10 different one-sided colored sheets of printed pages – text only. 20.5 x 25.5 cm. In near excellent complete condition, unmarked and clean. Additional photos available on request.
