Mid-1980s Japanese Island Records promo poster
Original first printing U2 promotional poster issued by Island Records in Japan in the mid-1980s. Judging by Bono’s hat, this looks like The Unforgettable Fire to me. The photo of the band is credited to the legendary Japanese Music Life magazine. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 72.7 x 51.2 cm (approx. 28.6″ by 20.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock. In remarkably near excellent unfolded condition.
