Early 1970s Japanese ABKCO Music & Records promo poster

Large original first printing Rolling Stones promotional poster issued by ABKCO Music & Records in Japan in 1973, presumably. Jagger is wearing the all-in-one velvet jump suit, specially designed for him by Ossie Clark. Jagger had become a client of his in the late 1960s. Jagger wore this outfit at the concert at Wembley Stadium on 8th September, 1973. The poster features a striking photo credited to Japanese music critic and photographer Yoshiji Kizaki, with the artist’s imprint to the bottom right corner. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 72.6 x 102.5 cm (approx. 28.6″ by 40.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
