Wartburg Music Hall, Wiesbaden February 1979 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising English mod revival band The Jam at the Wartburg Music Hall in Wiesbaden [Germany] on Friday, 23rd February, 1979. Presented by Alpha Concerts, the show in Wiesbaden was part of the band’s early 1979 European tour in support of the newly released All Mod Cons album. Recorded at RAK Studios in London under the guidance of producers Vic Coppersmith-Heaven and Chris Parry, the album was released on 3rd November, 1978 on the Polydor label, featuring the hit “Down In The Tube Station At Midnight”.

The poster measures 59.2 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. There is a tape mark to the bottom left corner, else in excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
