1982 Japanese CBS/Sony Inc. promo poster for “Vacation”
Large original first printing The Go-Go’s promotional poster issued by CBS/Sony Inc. in Japan in 1982 to promote the release of the Vacation album – the band’s only second studio album, produced by Richard Gottehrer, and released on 20th July, 1982 on I.R.S. Records. Containing the singles “Vacation”, “Get Up and Go”, and “This Old Feeling”, the album was a commercial success and reached #8 on the Billboard 200. It was certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for selling over 500,000 certified units.
