Westfalenhalle, Dortmund March 1981 concert poster (Zrocke)
Original first printing concert poster advertising The Blues Band at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund [Germany] on Saturday, 7th March, 1981, presented by Kartsen Jahnke in cooperation with Blitz Musik. They were touring Germany in support the Ready album – their second album, produced by the band themselves and released in late 1980 on the Arista label. The poster features artwork by Paul-Helmut Zrocke, with the artist’s imprint to the bottom left corner.
The poster measures 83.8 x 59.3 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Faint crease mark just above Paul Jones’ head, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
