October 1974 German tour blank concert poster
Original first printing concert poster designed to promote “The Big Show ’74” October 1974 German package tour, presented by Norman Granz’s Pablo Records in association with Lippmann+Rau, and featuring jazz giants Big Joe Turner, Count Basie, and Oscar Peterson. For the tour Peterson was accompanied by the great Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen. The poster also promotes Count Basie and Big Joe Turner’s The Bosses and Oscar Peterson’s The Trio, both realeased in 1974 on Pablo Records.
The poster measures 59.7 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
