September/October 1957 UK concert tour program

Original vintage concert program for the Jack Teagarden—Earl Hines All-Stars’ Sept/Oct 1957 nation-wide tour of Great Britain, with an ensemble that featured Cozy Cole (drums), Max Kaminsky (trumpet), Peanuts Hucko (clarinet), and Jack Lesberg (bass). Presented by the National Jazz Federation, the tour kicked off at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 28th September and ended at the London Coliseum on 13th October, 1957. The program has been authentically by all members of the sextet, except Max Kaminsky.

In original green and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 26.3 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Paul Oliver, Stanley Dance, Brian Nicholls, Sinclair Traill, and Jack Higgins. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
