Stadthalle, Offenbach February 1978 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising British glam rock band Sweet at the Stadthalle in Offenbach [Germany] on Thursday, 9th February, 1978, in support of Level Headed, their sixth studio album, produced by the band members themselves, and released in January 1978 to coincide with the European tour. Containing the hit single “Love Is Like Oxygen”, Level Headed was the last album to feature the classic Sweet lineup, as singer Brian Connolly departed around a year after the album’s release, in order to embark on a solo career. The remaining trio of Steve Priest, Andy Scott, and Mick Tucker continued on and recorded three more albums before breaking up in 1981.
