November 1966 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for The Stan Getz Quartet’s November 1966 British tour with Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer Astrud Gilberto, presented by Harold Davison, and with The Allan Ganley Quartet also on the bill. Getz’ quartet featured vibraphonist Gary Burton, bassist Steve Swallow, and drummer Roy Haynes. With this line-up he recorded The Stan Getz Quartet in Paris — a live album recorded at the Salle Pleyel in Paris on 13th November, 1966, and released the following year on the Verve label.
In original b/w pictorial uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 20.8 x 25.6 cm, 16 pp. Program notes by Mike Butcher. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
