Théâtre Femina, Bordeaux February 1980 concert poster 

Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Ray Bryant (1931—2011) at the Théâtre Femina in Bordeaux [France] on Friday, 29th February, 1980, presumably accompanied by bassist Jimmy Rowser and drummer Mickey Roker. It was with this line-up he had recorded the Potpourri album, released in 1980 by Norman Granz’ Pablo Records. Between 1976 and 1980 Bryant recorded five albums for Pablo. Bryant died on 2nd June, 2011 at the age of 79 in Queens, New York, after a long illness.

The poster measures 38.4 x 58.9 cm and is printed in orange and black inks on thin, uncoated paper stock. There is a diagonal crease to the bottom right cornered a touch of light surface handling wear, else in near excellent condition.
