Colston Hall, Bristol April 1966 concert flyer


Large vintage original first printing concert flyer advertising the Oscar Peterson Trio at the Colton Hall in Bristol [England] on Tuesday, 5th April, 1966, presented by Charles H. Lockier by arrangement with Harold Davison and Norman Granz. The show in Bristol was part of a short 5-date tour of Great Britain, commencing at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester on 2nd April and ended at the New Victoria Theatre in London on 8th April, 1966. For this tour Sam Jones and Louis Hayes were replacing the departing Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen.

The flyer measures 17.4 x 25.3 cm and is beautifully printed in brown and black inks on thin, light coated paper stock. Complete with the original postal booking form still intact.
