Metropol, Berlin June 1982 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising English singer-songwriter Graham Parker at the Metropol in Berlin [Germany] on Friday, 11th June, 1982, presented by Kartsen Jahnke. Parker was touring germany in support of the Another Grey Area album – his first solo album, recorded at the Recod Plant in New York and produced by Grahm Parker and Jack Douglas. It was was released on 15th March, 1982 by RCA in Europe and the UK and Arista Records in the USA. The album was well-received in the US and peaked at #52 on the Billboard 200.
The poster measures 83.8 x 59.3 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
