Palais de la Mutualité, Paris November 1965 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising the second Paris Jazz Festival staged at the Palais de la Mutualité from 3rd to 4th November, 1965, presented by la Societé Française de Concerts in cooperation with the Radiodiffusion Télévision Française (RTF). Performing artists included Bill Evans, Lee Konitz, Lennie Tristano, Art Blakey, Freddie Hubbard, Ornette Coleman, Sonny Rollins, Teddy Wilson, Gerry Mulligan, Dakota Staton, Gerry Mulligan, Ben Webster, Earl Hines, Kenny Clarke, and others. The poster features artwork by French cartoonist Maurice Sinet, known professionally as Siné.

The poster measures 41.7 x 56.8 cm (approx. 16.4″ by 22.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed in red and black inks on thin, smooth-finish paper stock.
