Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz combo the Modern Jazz Quartet at the Musikhalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Sunday, 1st November, 1959, presented by Norman Granz in association with Kurt Collien. Striking artwork by noted German graphic duo Hans Michel and Günther Kieser with artists’ imprint to the upper right side border.
The poster measures 59.3 x 83.9 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. Neatly folded with a touch of light surface handling wear, else in near excellent condition. Additional photos available on request.
