March 1969 UK concert tour program 

Original vintage concert program produced for the Modern Jazz Quartet’s March 1969 UK tour in support of the Under the Jasmin Tree album, recorded live in New York City in December 1967 and released on the Apple label. The album was the fourth release on The Beatles’ new label and the MJQ were the only jazz act to record for the label. The full itinerary for the 10-date tour was as follows: Royal Festival Hall, London (8th March), Empire Theatre, Sunderland (9th March), Town Hall, Birmingham (10th March),  Arts Centre, Basildon (11th March), University, Keele (12th March), Fairfield Hall, Croydon (13th March), Guildhall, Southampton (14th March), Free Trade Hall, Manchester (15th March),  Colston Hall, Bristol (16th March), and University, Bradford (20th March).

In original light blue and black pictorial uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 20.7 x 25.7 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Peter Clayton. In excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
