Schwabingerbräu, Munich May 1978 concert poster

Large original first printing concert poster advertising Scottish singer-songwriter Frankie Miller at the Schwabingerbräu in Munich [Germany] on Friday, 5th May, 1978, presented by Marek Lieberberg and Marcel Avram’s MAMA Concerts. Miller was touring in support of his fifth studio album, Double Trouble, recorded at the Record Plant in New York during April 1978 and produced by Jack Douglas. The album featured Procol Harum drummer BJ Wilson, guitarist Ray Russell, and keyboardist and vocalist Paul Carrack, who co-wrote five of the songs with Miller. Steven Tyler from Aerosmith also makes a guest appearance as backing vocalist. Also in 1978 Miller hit the UK Top 10 with the song “Darlin'”, which peaked at #6 in October 1978.

The poster measures 59.0 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.2″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
