Original first printing concert poster advertising advertising English ska/pop group Madness at the Wartburg Music Hall in Wiesbaden [Germany] on Friday, 23rd May, 1980,presented by Sunrise, and with Clive Langer & The Boxes as special guests. The show in Wiesbaden was part of the group’s German tour during May in support of their debut album One Step Beyond… produced by Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley. Recorded at Eden & TW Studios in London in just 10 days, the album was an instant hit peaking at #2 on the UK Albums Chart.
The poster measures 59.3 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33” inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
