Ancienne Belgique, Brussels March 1982 concert poster
Large original first printing concert poster advertising Louis Armstrong’s All Stars at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels [Belgium] on Tuesday, 23rd March, 1982. The All Stars featured clarinetist and leader Peanuts Hucko (1918—2003), trombonist Trummy Young (1912—1984), trumpeter Jimmy Maxwell (1917—2002), pianist Dick Cary (1916—1994), double-bassist Jack Lesberg (1920—2005), and drummer Danny D’Imperio (1945). Uncommon.
The poster measures 67.9 x 95.7 cm and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin, uncoated orange paper stock.
