Town Hall, Birmingham October 1963 concert flyer 

Original first printing concert flyer advertising British saxophonist and clarinetist Johnny Dankworth and His Orchestra at the Town Hall in Birmingham [England] on Monday, 14th October, 1963, presented by the Musicians’ Union and the Labour Party, and with Terry Lightfoot’s Jazzmen, and Dorita y Pepe also on the bill. This was around the time of the release of the albums Jazz from Abroad and What the Dickens! Dorita y Pepe were the stage names of British musicians Dorothy and Peter Sensier. They made many appearances as a duo on British television in the late 1950s and 1960s, performing Spanish and Latin American folk music, and released several albums. Peter Sensier was also known as a guitar maker, writer and radio broadcaster.
