October 1958 German concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for the Jazz From carnegie Hall October 1958 package tour of Germany, presented and produced by Harold Davison in association with Kurt Collien. Performing artists included trombonists J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding, saxophonists Zoot Sims and Lee Konitz, double-bassist Oscar Pettiford, drummer Kenny Clarke, and pianists Red Garland and Phineas Newborn. Flyer advertising the concert at the Ernst-Merck-Halle in Hamburg on Saturday, 4th October, laid in.
In original green and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 19.0 x 20.0 cm, 16 pp. All text in German. Staples are slightly rusty, else in excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
