Salle Pleyel, Paris December 1949 concert program

Small original vintage concert program for American jazz tenor saxophonist Coleman Hawkins’ performance at the Salle Pleyel in Paris [France] on Wednesday, 21st December, 1949, accompanied by drummer Kenny Clarke, alto saxophonist Hubert Fol, pianist Jean-Pierre Mengelon, trombonist Nat Peck, and saxophonist and flautist James Moody. The ensemble can be heard on the album Lausanne 1949 — recorded, as the title suggests, in Lausanne, Switzerland on 3rd December, 1949. The album was released by TCB Records in 1999.

In original b/w pictorial matte-coated wrappers, single staple bound, 10.5 x 13.5 cm, 12 pp. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean.
