Original vintage concert program for Duke Ellington’s March 1964 European tour, presented by Norman Granz in association with Horst Lippmann. The orchestra for the tour included Johnny Hodges, Harry Carney, Paul Gonsalves, Cootie Williams, Lawrence Brown, Jimmy Hamilton, and Sam Woodyard. Striking program artwork by noted graphic duo Hans Michel and Günther Kieser.
In original pictorial matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.5 x 25.4 cm, 20 pp. All text in English. Near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
