1971 Japanese Warner Bros.-Pioneer Corporation promo poster

Original first printing Deep Purple promotional poster issued by Warner Bros.-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in the early 1970s, presumably in 1971 to promote the Fireball album. Pioneer established the Warner Bros.-Pioneer Corporation with Warner Bros. Records and Watanabe Productions on 11th November, 1970, and became a new Japanese distributor of Warner Bros. Records releases. In 1972 they changed their name to Warner-Pioneer Corporation and extended their distribution to catalogs of Atlantic Records, Reprise Records, Elektra Records, and Asylum Records, along with other labels owned by WEA. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 51.3 x 72.6 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
