Sportpalast, Berlin April 1960 concert program

Original vintage concert program for Count Basie’s performance at the Sportpalast in Berlin [Germany] on Friday, 1st April, 1960, presented by Wolfgang Jänicke. The orchestra for the 1960 European tour consisted of Joe Newman, Snooky Young, Thad Jones, George Cohn (trumpets); Benny Powell, Al Grey, Henry Coker (trombones); Fran Wess, Marshall Royal, Billy Mitchell, Frank Foster, Charlie Fowlkes (saxophones); Freddie Green (guitar); Eddie Jones (bass); and Sonny Payne (drums).

One sheet folded into four pages, 14.9 x 20.8 cm. All text in German. In excellent condition, unmarked and clean. Additional photos available on request.
