Juan-les-Pins, France July 1968 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising the 9th Annual Antibes Jazz Festival held in Juan-les-Pins on the French Riviera from 20th to 25th July, 1968, headlined by “The Queen of Gospel”, Mahalia Jackson, but also featuring Count Basie and His Orchestra, Don Ellis, the Pharoah Sanders Quartet, the Drayton Singers, Betty Carter, and many more. Pharoah Sanders’ performance was recorded and was released as Live At Antibes Jazz Festival Juan-Les-Pins July 21, 1968 in 2019 by Alternative Fox.
The poster measures 32.1 x 58.6 cm and is printed on thin, coated paper stock. Printer’s imprint (France-Imprimerie) to the bottom right corner.
