Hemmerleinhalle, Neunkirchen May 1979 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising American rock group Aerosmith at the Hemmerleinhalle in Neunkirchen [Germany] on Manday, 14th May, 1979, presented by Marcel Avram and Marek Lieberberg’s MAMA Concerts. The show in Neunkirchen was part of the band’s Spring 1979 European tour in support of the Live Bootleg album. Recorded during shows in 1973, 1977 and 1978 and produced by Jack Douglas, who had previously worked with Miles Davis and Alice Cooper, the album was released in October 1978. Containing the single “Chip Away The Stone”, Live Bootleg peaked at #13 on the US album charts and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on December 26, 1978.
The poster measures 59.1 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33 inches”) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
