Sporthalle, Hamburg September 2000 concert poster 

Large original first printing concert poster advertising American rock group Steely Dan at the Sporthalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Monday, 4th September, 2000, presented by Sunrise in cooperation with Music & More. The concert in Hamburg was part of their 15-date European tour during August and September in support of the Two Against Nature album – their eighth studio album, produced by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, and released on 29th February, 2000 on Giant Records, a joint venture between Warner Bros. Records and record executive Irving Azoff. Two Against Nature was the group’s first album in twenty years. It was a huge critical and commercial success. It won four Grammy Awards: Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Engineered Album – Non-Classical, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. It reached #6 on the Billboard 200, and stayed 30 weeks on the chart. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in March 2000 for sales exceeding 1,000,000 copies in the US alone.
