1973 Japanese MCA Records/Victor Records promo poster for “Live Dates”
Original first printing Wishbone Ash promotional poster issued by MCA/Victor Records in Japan in 1973 to promote the release of the Live Dates album – a live album recorded during their June 1973 UK tour and produced by the band members themselves. It was originally released in November 1973 on MCA Records. The album peaked at #82 on the Billboard 200 and in the UK, the album was certified Silver by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) for sales in excess of 60,000 copies. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 72.6 x 51.4 cm (approx. 28.6″ by 20.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Unfolded, but with a tack hole to each corner and edge wear to the top left corner. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
