1980 Japanese Sire Records promo poster for “Remain in Light”
Original first printing Talking Heads promotional poster issued by Sire Records in Japan in the early 198os, presumably to promote the release of the Remain in Light album – the band’s fourth studio album, produced by Brian Eno, and released on 8th October, 1980. The poster eatures a striking photo of the band credited to Japanese photographer Kaoru Ijima. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 72.4 x 51.4 cm (approx. 28.5″ by 20.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
