Zitadelle, Berlin August 2008 concert poster
Large original first printing concert poster advertising Canadian/American guitarist and singer Neil Young at the Zitadelle in Berlin [Germany] on 19th August, 2008, in support of the Chrome Dreams II album, his 28th studio album, produced by Neil Young and Niko Bolas, and originally released on 23rd October, 2007 by Reprise Records. The album name references Chrome Dreams, a legendary Neil Young album from 1977 that had originally been scheduled for release, but was shelved in favor of American Stars ‘N Bars. The album peaked at #11 on the Billboard 200, selling about 54,000 copies in its first week. In addition, the song “No Hidden Path” was nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance”. The touring band featured Crazy Horse members Ben Keith, Ralph Molina, and Rick Rosas.
The poster measures 59.3 x 83.9 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin, dull-coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
