1978 Japanese MCA/Victor Records promo poster for “TNT”
Large original first printing Tanya Tucker promotional poster issued by MCA/Victor Records in Japan in 1978 to promote the release of the TNT album – her ninth studio album, produced by Jerry Goldstein, and originally released on 6th November, 1978 on MCA Records in the US. Containing the singles “Not Fade Away” and “Texas (When I Die)”, the album was a critical and commercial success and reached #54 on the Billboard 200. TNT was certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales exceeding 500,000 copies in the US. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 59.2 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
