Stadthalle, Erlangen May 1982 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising Jamaican reggae fusion band Third World at the Stadthalle in Erlangen [Germany] on Friday, 21st May, 1982, presented by ICC. The concert in Erlangen was part of the band’s German tour during May in support of the You’ve Got the Power album, recorded at Wonderland Recording Studio in Hollywood and produced by Stevie Wonder. The album was released in 1982 by Columbia and was Third World in their prime. Containing the singles “Try Jah Love” and “You’re Playing Us Too Close”, both written by Stevie Wonder, the album reached #63 on the Billboard 200.
