November 1966 Japanese concert tour program & ticket stub
Large original vintage program book lavishly produced for “The Sensational Drum Battle” November 1966 Japanese tour. Performing artists on the tour included Art Blakey (drums), Anthony Williams (drums), Elvin Jones (drums), Wayne Shorter (tenor sax), Jimmy Owens (trumpet), McCoy Tyner (piano), and Ben Tucker (bass). Original concert ticket for the show on Saturday, 12th November, laid in.
In original, pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 25.7 x 36.4 cm, 36 pp. All text in Japanese. Light wear to spine and a diagonal crease to the bottom left corner on the back wrapper, else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
