Late 1970s/early 1980s Japanese Odeon/Toshiba EMI promotional poster for (“The Beatles Forever”)
Original first printing The Beatles promotional poster issued by Odeon/Toshiba EMI in Japan in the late 1970s/early 1980s as as part of their “The Beatles Graffitti Poster” series. Toshiba Musical Industries, the publisher of EMI in Japan (Toshiba EMI), divided classical music into “Angel Records” and popular music into “Odeon Records” in January 1963. The poster features a photo of each member taken from the “Let It Be” photo session. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.5 x 73.0 cm (approx. 20.3″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
