May 1966 UK concert tour program & ticket stub


Original vintage concert program for the “Jazz From Chicago To Kansas City” May 1966 package tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison in association with the Festival of American Arts & Humanities. Performing artists included Earl Hines, Bud Freeman, Buck Clayton and Rex Stewart. British Alex Welsh and Humphrey Lyttelton were also on the bill. Original ticket stub for the concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Saturday, 28th May, laid in.

In original black and white pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 25.9 cm, 16 pp. Program notes by Derek Jewell. Fine, tightly bound and clean without any markings.  Appears unread. Additional photos available on request.
