1986 Japanese CBS/Sony Inc. promo poster for “Different Light”
Large original first printing The Bangles promotional poster issued by CBS/Sony Inc. in Japan in 1986 to promote the release of the Different Light album – the band’s only second album, produced by David Kahne, and released on 2nd January, 1986. Containing the hit singles “Manic Monday” and “Walk Like an Egyptian”, the album was a huge success, reaching #2 on the Billboard 200. It was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for selling over 3,000,000 certified units. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
