Description

Shibuya Public Hall, Tokyo & Welfare Pension Hall, Tokyo August/September 1983 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising legendary The Band at the Shibuya Public Hall in Tokyo [Japan] on 25th August & 3rd September and the Welfare Pension Hall, also in Tokyo, on 1st & 2nd September, 1983. The Tokyo concerts were part of their reunion tour after five years apart. It was without guitarist Robbie Robertson, who had taken up a new career as a producer and composer for film soundtracks. Never seen another one of these.

The poster measures 51.3 x 72.6 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on medium-thin, gloss-coated paper stock. There is a tiny closed rip to the lower left side border, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
