1972 Japanese Epic Records/CBS Sony Inc. promo poster for “Orange”

Large original first printing Al Stewart promotional poster issued by Epic Records/CBS Sony Inc in 1972 to promote the release of the Orange album – his fourth studio album, produced by John Anthony and released on 1st January, 1972. Generally regarded as a ‘transitional album’ between the confessional folk sounds of his first three albums and the historically themed albums of his more successful mid-1970s period, the album includes Rick Wakeman on piano as well as future Elvis Costello and the Attractions bassist Bruce Thomas. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 58.7 x 83.6 cm (approx. 23.1″ by 32.9″ inches) and is beautifully printed on medium-thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
