Original first printing concert poster advertising American rock group Santana at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo [Japan] on 22nd & 23rd October, 1979, with Eddie Money also on the bill. Presented by Udo Artists in cooperation with Bill Graham, Santana was touring in support of the Marathon album – the band’s eleventh studio album, produced by Keith Olsen, and originally released in September 1979 on Columbia Records. Containing the hit single “You Know That I Love You”, the album peaked at #25 on the Billboard 200, and stayed on the charts for 22 weeks. It was certified Gold in October 194 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales exceeding 500,000 copies in the US.
