Description
Late 1970s Japanese Elektra/Warner-Pioneer Corporation promo poster
Large original first printing Queen promotional poster issued by Elektra/Warner-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in the late 1970s, presumably 1978/79 to promote the Jazz album – their seventh studio album, produced by Roy Thomas Baker, and released on 10th November, 1978. Queen toured Japan during April and May 1979. As Roger Taylor’s bass drum would suggest, the photo is from the “News of the World” tour. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 83.7 x 59.3 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In remarkbly near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
