Original first printing concert poster advertising English singer-songwriter Robert Palmer at the Sartory Saal in Cologne [Germany] on Thursday, 23rd October, 1980, in support of Clues, his sixth solo album, produced by Palmer himself and released in September 1980 on Island Records. The 1980s saw Palmer find an increasing amount of commercial success, and the album featured the likes of Gary Numan, Talking Heads drummer Chris Frantz, and former bassist of Free, Andy Fraser. Containing the singles “Johnny and Mary” and “Looking for Clues”, the album peaked at #59 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart.
The poster measures 59.9 x 84.2 cm (approx. 23.6″ by 33.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
