Original vintage program book produced for the 1977 North Sea Jazz Festival staged at the Congresgebouw in The Hague [Holland] from 15th to 17th July, 1977, presented by Paul Acket. This was the second year of the festival, and performing artists included Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Carmen McRae, Count Basie, Don Ellis, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Horace Silver, Stanley Clarke, Archie Sheep, Milt Jackson, Ray Brown, Art Blakey, Monty Alexander, Roy Eldridge, Muddy Waters, Joe Pass, Big Joe Turner, Gary Burton, Kai Winding, Earl Hines, Alphonse Mouzon, and many, many more. The North Sea Jazz Festival was created by Dutch impressario Paul Acket, who wanted to present American jazz and European avant-garde jazz to a broader public. The festival has become one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in the world.

In original typographical matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 20.9 x 29.5 cm, 68 pp. All text in Dutch. In excellent unmarked condition, tightly bound and clean. Appears unread. Additional images of the program available on request.
