Germany 1960 concert poster (Michel+Kieser)
Original first printing concert poster designed by noted German graphic duo Hans Michel and Günther Kieser to promote Albert Nicholas and Armand Gordon’s joint 1960 German tour, presented by the German Jazz Federation. Artists’ imprint (michel+kieser) to the upper left side of the poster just above the hand pointing west. The poster has been authentically signed by Günther Kieser.
Printed by Hub. Hoch in Düsseldorf, the poster measures exactly 59.3 x 83.8 cm and is beautifully printed in blue, red and black inks on thin, uncoated paper stock. There is a one inch closed tear to the upper left side border and a few tiny rips along the borders, otherwise in near excellent unfolded condition. Additional photos available on request.
