De Doelen, Rotterdam November 1973 concert program & ticket stubs
Original vintage concert program for The Newport Jazz Festival in Rotterdam held at de Doelen in Rotterdam [Holland] from 16th to 18th November, 1973, featuring Sarah Vaughan, The Young Giants of Jazz, B.B. King, Miles Davis, and Duke Ellington. The program has been authentically signed in a black marker by trumpeter Jimmy Owens. Miles Davis’ band for the concert included Dave Liebman (tenor), Reggie Lucas (guitar), Pete Cosey (guitar), Michael Henderson (bass), James Forman Mtume (congas), and Al Foster (drums). Ticket stubs for the various concerts laid in.
In original pictorial coated wraps, staple bound, 21.0 x 21.0 cm, 16 pp. Program notes in Dutch by Ruud Kuyper. Near fine, tightly bound and clean without any markings. Additional photos available on request.
