Nordlandhalle, Lüneburg June 1974 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising English progressive rock group Nektar at the Nordlandhalle in Lüneburg [Germany] on Tuesday, 11th June, 1974, presented by Sunrise. The show in Lüneburg was part of the band’s nationwide tour of Germany during May/June 1974 in support of Remember the Future – their fourth studio album, produced by Peter Hauke, and released on 23rd November, 1973 on Bacillus (Bellaphon). Much like their debut album, Journey to the Centre of the Eye, it is a concept album which is formally divided into ten tracks but in fact consists of one continuous piece of music.
The poster measures 86.0 x 61.0 cm (approx. 33.9″ by 24″” inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. There is a pin hole to each corner and light creasing to the bottom right corner, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition.
